Ministry Accountability

We prayerfully present ministry needs to God’s people and trust the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of those He calls to partner with us in meeting those needs. Recognizing that our resources for ministry come through individual contributions, we are accountable to God and our donors. We aim to uphold sound Biblical principles in all we do.

To ensure faithful stewardship, we observe the following commitments:

Adhering to Biblical Foundations: We affirm a clear Statement of Fundamental Truths that upholds our commitment to evangelical Christian doctrine, ensuring that advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the central purpose of all our financial practices.

Responsible Governance: A dedicated and accountable Board of Directors oversees our ministry, the majority of whom are independent. This Board establishes policies, approves budgets, and reviews ministry outcomes to ensure alignment with our mission.

Faithful Use of Contributions: We use donations wisely and in alignment with our mission, meeting critical needs while creating opportunities to share the Gospel. Fundraising appeals clearly identify their intended purposes, and oversight ensures contributions are applied appropriately.

Transparency in Designated Giving: We apply contributions designated for specific projects as directed, with the understanding that we may use a small percentage for administrative costs. Should contributions exceed the needs of any particular project, they will be applied to existing similar, pressing needs or allocated to the General Fund and used where needed most.

Flexibility in Giving Options: We offer our partners multiple ways to financially link arms with us: through Tithe.ly, PayPal, Venmo, in-kind physical donations, and by check, while setting up cryptocurrency donation capability through Coinbase. We will soon provide the ability to donate through legacy gifting.

Grants and Awards: We prayerfully and carefully vet all applicants for financial support, ensuring alignment with our mission, accountability in stewardship, and a clear call to advance Kingdom impact. Our leadership team reviews each request with integrity, discernment, and due diligence.

Financial Accountability: We engage an independent public accounting firm for annual audits and ensure financial statements comply with generally accepted accounting principles. These statements are made available to anyone who requests them. Please note that for 2025, the independent agency has not yet conducted an audit.

Respect for Privacy: We safeguard donor information with care. We do not sell, lease, or rent mailing lists; we maintain strict security to protect our supporters’ privacy.

High Standards of Integrity: We avoid high-pressure, manipulative, or deceptive fundraising tactics and conduct all activities with the utmost integrity to honor Christ and advance His Kingdom.

Debt-Free Operations: To honor the cause of Christ, we seek to avoid indebtedness and fulfill all financial commitments promptly.

Ongoing Excellence: Our Board members are committed to growing in their knowledge and understanding of best practices for nonprofit financial stewardship, ensuring diligence and care in their responsibilities.
