Statement of Fundamental Truths

Kingdom Culture Ministries International embraces the Bible as the foundation of our faith and practice.
These Fundamental Truths are shared as a unifying framework, ensuring we speak with one voice in harmony with Scripture (1 Corinthians 1:10; Acts 2:42). The phrasing here isn’t necessarily inspired, but the truths expressed are essential to understanding and living out the Gospel. While this document doesn’t cover every aspect of biblical teaching, it addresses key doctrines foundational to our shared faith.
1. THE BIBLE AS INSPIRED SCRIPTURE
The Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s inspired Word. The Scriptures are His love letter to humanity, serving as the infallible, authoritative guide for faith and daily living.

2. THE ONE TRUE GOD
God has revealed Himself as the eternal “I AM,” the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and the Redeemer of humanity. He is one God who exists in a perfect relationship as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons who are fully divine, co-equal, and co-eternal, perfectly united in power, love, and holiness.

4. HUMANITY’S FALL AND REDEMPTION
God created man and woman good and upright, made in His image. However, through disobedience, humanity fell into sin, resulting in spiritual separation from God. Redemption is made possible only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ sacrificial death and resurrection, forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life are freely available to all who believe.

6. THE ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH
Water Baptism and Holy Communion are outward expressions of faith. Baptism symbolizes identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Communion—often called the Lord’s Supper or the Sacraments—honors His sacrifice, reminding Believers of His death and promise to return.
-
Water Baptism: Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47–48; Romans 6:4
-
Holy Communion: 2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26
7. THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
All Believers are entitled to baptism in the Holy Spirit, a promise from the Father, bringing empowerment for service and a deeper spiritual life. This experience is often evidenced by speaking in tongues. We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience, separate from and following the new birth that occurs at salvation. This baptism empowers Believers to lead lives of purpose and service, enhancing their ability to be effective witnesses and ministers in alignment with God’s mission. Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit. This understanding is rooted in examples from the Book of Acts, including the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:4), the household of Cornelius (Acts 10:44-46), and the Ephesian disciples (Acts 19:6). We affirm a distinction between speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the spiritual gift of tongues described in 1 Corinthians 12. While both involve speaking in unknown languages, they serve different purposes: one as a sign of the Spirit’s infilling and the other as a gift for edification within the church body.

10. THE MINISTRY

11. THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN MINISTRY
Kingdom Culture Ministries International affirms the essential role of women in ministry, as seen throughout Scripture. From Deborah’s leadership as a judge to Esther’s courage in delivering her people and Mary Magdalene’s proclaiming the resurrection, God has consistently called and empowered women to fulfill His purposes.
The Bible teaches that in Christ, there is no distinction of race, socioeconomic status, or gender, but rather, the Holy Spirit’s gifting, calling, and anointing can be upon anyone. Women, including Priscilla and Phoebe, served as teachers, deacons, and leaders in the early Church.
Passages like 1 Corinthians 14:34–35 and 1 Timothy 2:11–12, often used to restrict women in ministry, reflect cultural and situational concerns rather than universal prohibitions. The broader teaching of Scripture affirms women’s equality and their call to ministry in every five-fold ministry office.
Kingdom Culture Ministries International supports women in all areas of ministry, including leadership, preaching, and teaching, as empowered by the Holy Spirit. Women and men are partners in fulfilling the Great Commission and advancing God’s Kingdom.

12. THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE
Divine healing is integral to the Gospel, provided through Christ’s atonement. It is available to all Believers and demonstrates God’s love, power, and care for humanity. Healing is not limited to physical restoration but also includes emotional, spiritual, and mental wholeness, as modeled in the life and ministry of Jesus.
The supernatural works of God, as seen throughout Scripture, reveal His intention for Believers to walk in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. Signs, wonders, and miracles marked Jesus’ ministry. He promised that those who believe in Him would do the works He did and even greater works (John 14:12), to be as He is currently, here in this world (1 John 4:17). This includes healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, and proclaiming the Kingdom of God with boldness and power.
